Health Benefits of Visiting the Dog Park
The dog park is a great place to visit for some extra space for your dog to stretch their legs and visit with some of their favorite furry friends. Brevard County dog parks provide a space for your dog to get physical exercise which is great for their overall health and well-being. In addition to physical exercise, the dog park provides mental health benefits.
Dog parks provide opportunities for socialization and mental enrichment. If your dog needs daily exercise, the dog park is a great place to visit to avoid boredom and unwanted negative behaviors that come along with boredom. The amount of exercise your dog needs depends on their breed, age, and overall health.

Lori Wilson Park is 20 acres full of fun, oceanfront activities including a fenced-in dog park. This park is free of cost and includes a boardwalk, playground, and facilities. Be sure to keep your dog leashed and in designated areas around the park.
- Lorraine Gott Dog Park
- Location: 750 Jamaica Blvd. Satellite Beach, FL 32937

- Hours: Mon – Fri 7:30a – 11:00a, 4:00p – 7:30p, Sat-Sun 7:30a – 7:30p
- Cost: $2.50 up to 2 people and/or up to 3 dogs, $3.50 more than 2 people or 3 dogs
The E. Lorraine Gott Dog Park is a beachside dog park that provides an off-leash play area, a small dog area, and a dog wash station. This park requires proof of vaccinations, a county tag, and a registration form and waiver. Be sure to read about specific dog park rules, registration, and tag information. This park does require a fee, and membership options are available for regular users.

This dog park located within Xeriscape Park just opened in May of 2019. The shady refuge near busy A1A provides an off-leash play area for both large and small dogs that includes water features and agility equipment. What makes this park extra unique is a Pup Pantry where the community can share pet supplies!
