COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Illness

Team members who feel unwell or are showing symptoms of COVID will be tested ASAP. Clients with pending visits will be notified and a local emergency contact may be called. Should a positive test come back, they will remain off the schedule until they are better and receive a negative test and medical clearance that it is safe to return to work.

Clients who test positive, feel unwell, or are showing symptoms of COVID must inform us immediately. Either the visits will be canceled or all humans in the home must be in a separate room from your pet care provider and all parties are required to wear a mask.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Physical distancing will be maintained when out walking your dog. They will not be allowed to meet with other dogs, neighbors, or even friends they meet on their route.
Contact-Free Services

Contact-Free Services

Some clients are at home during a visit as they are working from home or have older family members who live in the home. As much as we love to socialize, we ask that everyone wait in a separate room while we tend to your pet(s) or get your pup ready for his walk.

Clients or their representative are present for dropping off and picking up from family-style overnight boarding. Please make drop-off and pick-up as brief as possible in the driveway to minimize any unnecessary exposure.

Masks

Currently, masks are not required but will be worn upon request by the client. Clients present at the time of services who test positive, feel unwell, or are showing symptoms of COVID that require services must be in a separate room from your pet care provider and all parties are required to wear a mask.

Hand Washing

All team members wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. This happens before, during, and after each service. In addition to soap and water, we use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

Sanitization

All items touched including door handles, treat jars, water bowls, etc are wiped down and sanitized at each and every visit.

Virtual Meet & Greet

New client meet and greets are no longer in person. Instead, we are conducting all meetings virtually on the Zoom platform. The format of the virtual meet and greet remains the same as they were in person. We spend the time getting to know each other and learning about your pet’s routine, behaviors, little quirks and fears. You can also use this time to show us where common pet items are located in your home.

We make booking pet care safe and easy during these times
